THE TIME MACHINE by H.G. Wells
Summary: The time traveller is a scientist. He builds a time machine with which he travels to the year 802701. In that year human beings have been divided into two different species: the Morlocks and the Eloi. When he arrives somebody steals his machine and he starts to investigate. He discovers that the Morlocks live in the underworld so he climbs down to know more about them. He's pretty sure they have stolen his machine and they feed on Eloi's meat. After some days he finds his machine inside a sphinx statue but it's a trap. He escapes travelling into the future, where the world is almost dead and the Earth had stopped turning. So he returns to his own time but just for a short period of time because he wants to keep travelling in time
Opinion: I like this book because I like science fiction and mainly because it makes you think about the human beings' future and how our specie may divide into two different species because of the differentiation between upper and working classes.

To be honest I don't like science fiction, but I think your comment on this book will make people want to read "The Time Machine" because you go beyond the anecdote
