PERSONAL OPINION OF THE BOOKI think this book is a bit sad, because it shows us for example, the hard life of the main character to be able to stay with his son. In addition I think that this book tries to show us that although you aren’t good-looking you can triumph. In my opinion is a difficult book to read.
SUMMARY
The book tells us a story which happens in a village called Sheffield. It has a great company of minerals. In this one work a lot of people of the village. But it has to close because other industries of the country are better than it. When Gaz and his friends are unemployed and they haven’t got any money for his family, they decide to form a group of strippers to earn some money.
Sometimes, some of them are not sure what they do. But at the end of the book they act in a concert in a local pub; a lot of women of the village go to see them although most of them are fat and ugly.
They are so successful because they are common people and demonstrate that everyone can do it if you need it for something.
The book finishes telling the life of each member of the group.
